thanks for the latest pictures on your blog, and the postcard from Sydney. Your parcel with CDs and postcards and t-shirt has arrived safely. Do you think everything is settled now regarding your car, or will there be an "open file" about you in Australia?
Hope you received our pictures from last week's ski mountaineering tour in the Berner Oberland! Sonja and I are doing our very best to make you jealous: we had perfect snow, new summits, lots of roesti and weissbier on the huts, and we did not have to fear crocodiles or swim with dolphins or ride on a 4WD through fantastic landscape, or whatever you were forced to encounter "Down Under" during the last weeks.

Anki is also doing fine, as far as I can judge. She had an excellent week back in April: snowboarding with friends in Soelden; then the most famous "music excursion" from school to the Odenwald, then Weimar as a classical/cultural trip. She is looking forward to the next D4F-contest in Oberhausen on Fronleichnam, and in between working for school.
We are all looking forward to you coming home soon!!! You have to tell us everything about the last 9 months and show us all your pictures (which might take until Christmas, I suppose). Do we have a chance to convert you into an ordinary-avarage young German woman? Or will I have to culture corals in our pond and have kangaroos in the backyard?
